I am famliy man who enjoys being with his children more than anything else. I am unconventional. I don't need a woman as a servant, but as a partner - to share laughs, and sometimes also tears. I don't believe in "traditional" family roles, and I don't pay much attention to what others in society expect of me. I like to have a nice (and clean) home, but I don't like to sit around home much. I do not measure people by status symbols, in fact I quite dislike commercialism. I believe that a man and a woman should always try to look good and attractive to each other, take good care of their health and bodies. I appreciate nice clothing on a woman, but I don't appreciate a woman spending money on "designer" clothing and accessiores. You can spend your money on more important things. I appreciate alternative thinking. I believe in conserving our environment and not wasting our earth's resources. I do not appreciate nationalistic feelings, I am a citizen of the world. Every country, religion and culture has its strengths and weakness.
How would you describe your ideal partner?
She is creative and finds a way to contact me using mail! She is open-minded, worldly, optimistic, attractive, with a good sense of humor and a healthy body and mind. She should be an active person, likes to explore things (also with the children) and not just sit at home. She likes to live and eat healthily, she likes cultural things but also (sport) activities, wandering in the forests and mountains (with and without children). She prefers to go running in the forest rather than in a fitness center. She should accept me for who I am and not try to change me. She considers a relationship a partnership out of free will and love, and not a (financial) necessity. She likes to share her feelings with a man, she likes to communcate openly with him and not just have expectations - and then be disappointed that they are not met. She expresses her wishes openly, doesn't keep her frustrations to herself. She gives her partner the benefit of the doubt and is not suspicious of him. She is able to relax, and enjoys (and needs) physical intimacy on a regular basis. She doesn't need a man to complain how difficult things are, but tries to change and improve things with her partner. She doesn't like to control her partner and doesn't like to be controlled.
What is the best advice that you will give to your children?
Find the right partner in life, wait for the right right woman before you start a family. If she is serious about you, she will make as much effort as you do. If she wants you, she will not wait for you to make every step in the relationship. Always show her your love, unless she has stopped showing her love to you for a long period. Treat her respectfully and demand respect from her as well. Don't give up easily, but when it's over leave her behind you.
How do friends view you?
Unconventional, always good for a surprise.
What is your favourite food?
Anything as long as it is tasty and more-or-less healthy. I cannot eat much fatty foods, and I don't need to eat meat very often. I enjoy a good glass of wine with my meal, I like to take time and enjoy my meal together with my family. It is the most important event of the day.
